Robert A. Taft Middle School Athletics

The Taft 7th grade basketball team had their first home game of the season against Liberty Middle School on Thursday, November 20th. The first two quarters were a battle for the A team with the Bulldogs going into halftime with a 22-20 lead. The Bulldogs locked in on the defensive end in the 3rd quarter only allowing 2 points, and stretching their lead. The Bulldogs never looked back and outscored Liberty 26-11 in the second half en route to a 48-31 victory. The A team was led in scoring by Bryce Doolin who finished with 12 points, followed by Jacob Susdorf and Blakely Swopes who each finished with 7 points. The B team also got a victory in a wire to wire game that finished 39-32 in favor of the Bulldogs. The B team was led in scoring by Jacob Rosario who finished with 14 points and two clutch buckets in the 4th quarter, followed by James McClain and Mason Marcinkewics who each finished with 8 points. 7th Grade vs Liberty Middle School (48 - 31) Win
