Robert A. Taft Middle School Athletics

The Taft 7th Grade “A” Team captured the Taft Tournament title on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs opened the tournament with a dominant 47–9 win over Michigan City Krueger, led by Pyper Hatfield’s 17 points. Imogen Suttle and McKenna Gill each contributed 7 points. Taft then faced Griffith in the championship game, where the Lady Bulldogs secured a hard-fought 23–20 victory. Hatfield led the team again with 7 points, while Cataleya Hernandez added 5. The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Monday, 2/9, when they host Fegely at 5:00 p.m.
