8th Grade vs Martin T Krueger Middle School (35 - 6) Win First round 8th Grade vs Griffith Senior High School (32 - 30) Win Championship game In the first game of the Taft tourney, the Lady Dogs took on Michigan City Kreugers. The girls jumped out to an early lead and kept up their good play to win 35-6 to advance to the championship game. Top performers were Natalia Becvarovski and Maria Marojevic. In the championship game, the girls took on a tough Griffith team. The girls fought hard to have a small lead at half 18-15. Griffith then took a 2 point lead going into the final quarter. The girls picked up their play to win 32-30 the take the top spot in the tourney. Top performers were Natalia Becvarovski and Katie Stefanoski. The whole team contributed in winning the tourney championship.
