Taft B Football 8th Grade vs Pierce Middle School (12 - 8) Win The Bulldogs battled the toughest opponent there is, their own mistakes. But they were able to survive three fumbles and several costly penalties by blocking and punt with a minute to go in the game and returning it for a touchdown. Carston Novak broke through the pirate line and produced the greatest sound in football... thunk. The ball found its way to the hands of Delfino Garcia who returned it 20 yards for the winning score. Jawan Smith also scored a touchdown for the Bulldogs who improved to 4-0 on the season. They have a huge game against Westchester next Tuesday at Taft.
